Cafe Campagne opened in Post Alley in 1994, initially conceived as a casual sibling underneath the popular Campagne Restaurant, which operated from 1987 to 2011. Since opening, Cafe Campagne has evolved to become one of the most beloved restaurants in the city, all on its own.

Many know Hilario for his incredible diversity of peppers, of which he grows over 200 varieties, but he also grows a wide variety of tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant, onions and much more.

Husband-and-wife team Kevin and Terresa Davis met in Terresa's native Australia, where they both worked at a restaurant called Bacall's. In 1991, the couple moved to Kevin's Louisiana home, where worked as chef of the renowned Arnaud's in New Orleans.
