Abundance on the Farm Tables

Here’s what fresh at the Pike Place farmers market and at our three Express markets around Downtown:

Xai Cha: If you didn't pick up a sweet, juicy Pineapple tomato last week you'll definitely want to grab one this week. Xai Cha has a table full of delicious tomatoes but this is one you don't want to miss. Also find green beans, peppers, eggplant, lemon cucumbers, basil, and onions.

Pao Xiong: All the cukes you could possibly need: choose from regular cucumbers, lemon cucumbers, and pickle cucumbers. They also have green beans, zucchini, carrots, basil, Swiss chard and beets.

Gaia Sheng: Tasty raspberries, jade beans, carrots, kale, beets and peas.

Magana: The only place you'll find fabulous sweet red and grapes! They also have fresh corn, apples, peaches, plums, pears, peppers, potatoes, green beans, tomatoes, eggplant, and onions.

Bao Cha: Now offering sweet onions, kale, chard, zucchini, cucumbers, beets, green beans. (Do you speak Thai? Test out your skills on Thai Thao!)

Sua Yang: Bright green kohlrabi, carrots, basil and beets are on this farmtable.

Alvarez: Shop for farm grown peanuts before the next Mariners game! Alvarez also has a  huge selection of eggplant and potatoes, zucchini, squash blossoms, potatoes, tomatillos, cucumber, corn, cantaloupe, tomatoes, peppers, garlic, onions, and dry beans.

Martin Family Orchards: New peaches are coming in this week. Also check in for pears, and be on the lookout for their first apples of the season.

Tiny’s Organic: Dive into a Honey Fire nectarine for lunch on Tuesday. Golden Princess peaches, pluots and donut peaches will also be available.

Hayton Farms: We know you love them! Keep coming back for Chester blackberries, organic Blue Crop blueberries, and Autumn Bliss raspberries. Bring your half-flat box for $1 off your purchase.

Sidhu Farms: Choose from blueberries, raspberries, strawberries,  blackberries, berry jam and fresh rhubarb stalks.

Mt. Townsend Creamery: This week, try a Fromage Blanc. It's a tangy cheese used like ricotta for cooking. It goes great in omelets and is delicious spread on bagels.

Britt’s Pickles: It's the perfect week for some sauerkraut! Pick up Curry Kraut with cumin and turmeric, or try Regular Kraut with caraway. Either way you'll have a delicious addition for any sandwich, burger or hotdog.
