Day 1
If you’re here for the whole weekend, we recommend starting your day in the Market! Grab breakfast at Lowell’s Restaurant & Bar, The Athenian, or Sound View Cafe as you watch the ferries come in. Lowell’s opens at 8 a.m. Friday through Sunday and 9 a.m. the other days of the week. The Athenian and Sound View Cafe open at 10 a.m. on the weekends.

After breakfast, stretch your legs and let your food digest as you browse the Crafts Market. More than 30 crafters and 20 farmers set up on our Daystall tables Thursday through Monday. Pro Tip: Check our Instagram Stories in the morning to see who’s set up that day.
By 11 a.m. the DownUnder and shops inside the Sanitary Market and on the North end of the Market are open. Spend hours getting lost in our independent book stores (BLMF Literary Saloon, Lamplight Books, and Lion Heart Book Store) or finally buy that kimono from Eastern Mood you’ve been eyeing for years.
For lunch, grab the world-famous blackened salmon sandwich from Market Grill, a delicious gyro from Mr. D’s Greek Delicacies, or pizza and a salad from Pizza and Pasta Bar. Pro Tip: JarrBar and Place Pigalle have collaborated on a new venture and their tacos are a can’t miss. All four locations have outside seating. Find your patio at PikePlaceMarket.org/Outdoor-Dining
Need a pick me up? Stop by the First Starbucks (they have a new Rachel the Piggy Bank tumbler) or head down to Western Avenue for a cup of joe and a macron from Barque Brontes Bakery Cafe.
Once caffeinated, grab a beer at Old Stove Brewing on the MarketFront or people watch with a cocktail on Copacabana’s balcony or head up to 1st Ave. for a margarita at El Borracho.
End the evening with a delicious meal on the cobblestones at either Radiator Whiskey, Matt’s in the Market, or IL Bistro. This is your limited-time opportunity to snap a picture dining under the famous Clock & Sign.
Day 2
Start Day 2 off with a dirty chai or americano from Ghost Alley Espresso or Storyville Coffee Company before picking up a light breakfast at The Crumpet Shop, Seattle Bagel Bakery, Three Girls Bakery or Le Panier. Pro Tip: grab a pain au chocolat from Three Girls Bakery & Le Panier and do a mini taste test.
Next, hit all the shops you didn’t see on the first day. Metsker Maps on 1st Avenue, Raven’s Nest Treasure behind MarketSpice, and Studio Solstone in the Economy Building, where you can pick up your 2021 calendar and maybe a few postcards.
For lunch, head into the Atrium and order a sweet or savory crepe from Crepe de France or one of 5 mouthwatering pasta dishes from Pasta Casalinga. Both restaurants have outdoor patio seating in our “Secret Garden.” Pro Tip: Pasta Casalinga also offers local microbrewed beer and wine.
After lunch, stock up on hard-to-find and one-of-a-kind items at our specialty groceries and food stands.
