Berry Festival is Part of Produce on Pike, a Monthly Extended Hours Farmers Market at Pike Place Market

SEATTLE, WA – Pike Place Market is excited to announce the continuation of the Produce on Pike monthly farmers market series with a special July Berry Festival on Wednesday, July 10th. From 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the Market will be bursting with fresh, locally grown berries, live entertainment, and fun activities for the whole family.

Event Highlights:

Live Entertainment
From 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, enjoy lively tunes from our talented Market buskers, including performances by Sara Benson and Travelin’ Miles. Music will be playing throughout the evening at both ends of the event for shoppers to enjoy.

Pikesters Club Activities
Calling all young producers! Join the Pikesters Club corner for a variety of engaging activities. Kids can create their custom Pikesters Club button, pick up a Market goodie bag, and receive a special shopper’s card to collect punches at each event for a prize raffle. For the Berry Festival, kids can enjoy coloring or painting with all-natural watercolors made from farmers’ produce, with a special coloring sheet designed by Market artist Kate Endle.

The July Berry Festival is a celebration of the region’s finest berries, providing a unique opportunity for visitors to experience and enjoy a variety of seasonal fruits at their peak. The festival will feature:

Cathy Garden
Berries Available: Blueberries and various vegetables
Selling at Pike Place Market since 2014, Cathy Garden, now owned by second-generation farmer Cathy Moul, manages a 10-acre flower and produce farm in Carnation, Washington.

Hayton Farms Berries
Berries Available: Certified organic raspberries, blackberries, tayberries, and loganberries
Established in 1876 on Fir Island in the Skagit Valley, Hayton Farms has evolved from a grain and dairy farm to a diverse crop farm, now focusing on extensive berry varietals along with potatoes, cauliflower, and cucumbers.

Sidhu Farms
Berries Available: Raspberries, loganberries, blackberries, and rhubarb
Since 1999, Sidhu Farms, a family-run organic berry farm in the Puyallup Valley, has been selling at Pike Place Market. Their 90-acre farm primarily grows certified organic blueberries but also produces a variety of other berries and vegetables. They also create unique jams and honey from their raspberry fields.
