MARKET HERITAGE TOURS
Market Heritage Tours are a blend of history and current information, with a dash of quirky anecdotes and practical shopping tips presented by knowledgeable insiders. And, one of the best things about the tour is that all proceeds benefit the Market Foundation, supporting the Pike Market Senior Center, Pike Market Food Bank, Pike Market Childcare & Preschool and the Pike Market Medical Clinic.
Weekday tours are offered for groups of ten or more. Reservations are required in advance. The cost is $10 for adults and $7 for seniors (55+) or children (under 18). Tours begin at Rachel the Pig, located in front of the Pike Place Fish Co., beneath the Market's neon clock and sign. For more information or to register, contact Michele at (206) 774-5249.
Please note: From August 16th - September 10th, tours will be offered on the following days only: Tuesdays at 9:30am, Wednesdays at 9 am and Saturdays at 9 am. Tours will be offered for any number of people by the Friends of the Market. Reservations are required in advance. Same cost as the weekday tours. Tours begin at Rachel the Pig. To register, contact John at jogliore@gmail.com or (206) 322-2219.
