Rustic-chic spot in the Corner Market building (upstairs near Storyville Coffee and Matt's in the Market), boasting a huge whiskey selection and creative menu.

Eat: Try the "Tot-Chos." Tater tots, sour cream, smoked cheddar, Mama Lil’s peppers, debris, green onions


 

2. Jarrbar

A newly opened, intimate place featuring Spanish and Portuguese-style cured seafood and meats paired with classic cocktails, wines from Iberia (plus a few closer to home), and cold beer.

Dimly lit and tucked away down Post Alley across from the Gum Wall, you'll feel like you're entering a speakeasy. Brick oven pizza, beer and cocktails.

7. White Horse Trading Company

This English-themed bookstore-meets-pub is a hidden Seattle treasure. Thumb through early edition British novels (yes, they're for sale) while you enjoy a beverage and sink into a comfy leather couch.

8. Steelhead Diner

Head here for a laid-back atmosphere with Pacific Northwestern comforts, including jumbo crab cakes and gumbo, and excellent drinks to boot!

9. Rachel's Ginger Beer

Fresh, fragrant and not too sweet, Rachel's Ginger Beer is brewed to perfection locally in Seattle and served on tap in their flagship Pike Place location.

10. Lowell's

Enjoy Northwest food in a casual and historic setting. Three floors with views of Puget Sound means plenty of space for kicking back to watch the ferries come and go below.

11. Virginia Inn

This beautifully restored building, established in 1903, actually predates Pike Place Market. Today the Virginia Inn is part French café and part English pub, with a Northwest twist.
