Pike Place Market: Your One-Stop Shop this Thanksgiving

Posted November 22, 2019

Whether you’re hosting Thanksgiving or stopping by a Friendsgiving, Pike Place Market is your one-stop shop this holiday season. Scroll down for fresh meat and seafood to appetizers, side dishes, desserts and more you can pick up at the Market or get delivered to your door.

Need a turkey? Now is the time to call Don & Joe’s Meats at 206-682-7670. Order now and pick up the week of Thanksgiving. If you’re not in need of a turkey they also specialize in game birds and bone-in-ham.

Don’t want to cook? Pike’s Pit BBQ to the right of Pike Place Bakery in the main arcade is selling smoked whole turkeys, turkey breasts, honey glazed spiral ham, and Alder smoked prime rib. Pre-order online and pick up at the Market. All food is provided cold and you must order 48 hours in advance.

Our fish markets are legendary for a reason. Pick up some pre-cooked Alaskan Snow Crab legs or smoked salmon for an alternative meat dish at Thanksgiving.

Order online at Pike Place Fish Market and get it shipped overnight. If you live in Washington, most of Oregon and Northern Idaho the shipping cost is around $10 to $20 for most orders.

Or stop into any of our fish Markets Pure Food Fish Market, City Fish Company, Jack’s Fish Spot, or Pike Place Fish Market.

The appetizer is arguably the most important part of Thanksgiving. Show up with a delicious charcuterie platter from DeLaurenti Food & Wine and satisfy all those pre-dinner tummy grumbles.

Swing by their Pike Place Market location today or order online with next day or same-day delivery depending on where you live.

If you’re looking for a more do-it-yourself vibe, Quality Cheese Inc. in between Three Girls Bakery and the Oriental Market offers imported and domestic cheese along with olives and a plethora of condiments.

Side Dish

Need to bring a quick dish for a Friendsgiving? Or are you in charge of the whole shebang? Pike’s Pit BBQ offers seven side dishes you can re-heat and call it a day. Pre-order now and pick up at their Pike Place Market location before Thanksgiving.

You can also order the entire Thanksgiving feast. See the menu below:

Bring a little Italian into your Thanksgiving meal with lasagna from Pasta Casalinga. Order 24 hours in advance and pick it up at their restaurant in the Pike Place Market Atrium. Pasta Casalinga and the entire Pike Place Market will be closed Thanksgiving Day.

Is the dinner roll a side dish? Swing by Le Panier, just down the street from the first Starbucks and Piroshky Piroshky, for a beautiful Couronne. It’s a series of 6 dinner rolls connected together to make a circle. It's the perfect way to save the day with more carbs but also make it look beautiful. Pre-order online before heading to the bakery.

Pike Place Market is basically dessert heaven from showstopping pumpkin tartes to decadent pies Le Panier knows what they are doing. Browse their online menu before coming into the bakery.

If you’re in a rush and need a dish or dessert to pass head to The Barque Brontes Bakery Cafe on Western Avenue or The Confectional on Pike Place. Both bakeries will have their display cases stocked with goodies from mini cheesecakes (the Confectional) to mini cakes and pies, decorated cookies, and macarons (Barque Brontes Bakery Cafe).

Both places are amazing! Check out their Instagrams to get insipired. @barqueBrontes @TheConfectional

The finishing touches on your Thanksgiving meal might not be the dinner. Pick up a gorgeous seasonal bouquet or signature centerpieces from our flower farmers.

Or kick-off the holidays right and pick up your Christmas tree or a holiday wreath at the Growing Washington tent on the cobblestones beginning Friday, November 22nd.

Remeber Pike Place Market is closed on Thanksgiving so grab any centerpieces from our farmers on Wednesday.
