Learning comes alive at the exciting, world-famous Pike Place Market, a historic, diverse neighborhood with 600 independent businesses and 500 residents in the heart of downtown Seattle. Food is central to the Market’s economy, but the Market is so much more.
Inclusion has also been a central theme at the Market, ever since its creation in 1907. Today is no exception--the Market welcomes all students.
With a visit to the Market, students see the power of diversity in action and how each person contributes to the energy and uniqueness that is the Pike Place Market.
For the 2019-2020 school year, tours for Seattle-area elementary schools are offered 10:00 – noon, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 30 through June 11.
