About Pike Box CSA

"CSA" stands for "Community Supported Agriculture," a partnership between farmers and consumers. Pike Box (formerly Farm to Go) is a partnership in which members sign up for a season’s worth of fresh, local produce that is sourced from our Pike Place Market farmers. The produce is packed by Pike Place Market staff and dedicated volunteers, and then conveniently delivered to participating offices or work places each week. The program supports these local farmers in growing their businesses by opening additional sales channels, connecting them with new customers, allowing them to experiment with new crops and varieties, and more.

This year, Pike Box pick-up is also available right here at the MarketFront Plaza and Pavilion. Come down, pick up your share, and enjoy the weekly CSA events we will be hosting all summer long!

What will I see in my Pike Box?

During the peak growing season (20 weeks from mid-June through October), you will receive a weekly selection of items sourced from the freshest, most flavorful produce the farmers at Pike Place Market have to offer, as well as recipes, storage tips, and easy preparation ideas to help make the most of your fruits and vegetables. You can also visit our online store and choose from a variety of add-ons -- from milk and honey to bread, eggs, and even a bouquet of flowers -- to add to your week's share, all made locally by Pike Place farmers and producers.
