Tours of the Market

Discover Pike Place Market in a whole new way! Pike Place Market hosts a variety of different walking tours where experienced guides give a peek inside the happenings of our busy neighborhood. Tours include art, food and cooking classes, an introduction to merchants, and interesting facts from our colorful history.

Our tours are a must for locals and visitors.

Tours of the Market are conducted by separate companies and are not managed directly by the Preservation and Development Authority (PDA), however, Pike Place Market requires guided tour companies to register annually. Each of their guides are trained to know how to help their groups navigate the Market's many passageways, nooks and crannies. (Are you a tour guide? See additional rules, here

For those who would like to combine their exploration with history, the nonprofit Friends of the Market offers 1-hour tours on Saturday mornings in the summer.
